Additional information

What to do while you wait for the carnival – dining
The roads into Glastonbury close early on Carnival Day and our coaches will be leaving Old Oaks at 3.30pm. So what will you do while you wait for the carnival? We’ve teamed up with Abbey Tea Rooms who are in a prime location to watch all the action, after you’ve had a scrumptious home cooked meal and can provide a warm, dry space to escape the hustle and bustle of carnival day.

There are a limited number of seats per time slot, so early booking is advisable.

The main carnival carts start passing by Abbey Tea Rooms at roughly 7.30pm or later, which means you can book a meal up until 6.15pm and still have plenty of time to eat, before the action starts.

Due to the size of the venue and the expected popularity, the numbers are strictly limited and please note that people will be seated in small groups.
